This delicious prawns make for a amazing side dish that can be served with plain rice, jeera rice, lemon rice or roti etc.

INGREDIENTS
FOR MARINATION
300 grams prawns
1 tsp Chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt as per taste
Coconut oil 2 tbsp
¼ tsp Pepper powder
FOR GRAVY
1 Bell pepper thinly sliced
1 onion thinly sliced
4 tbsp cabbage
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 green chilli slit
10 Curry leaves
1 tsp Black pepper powder
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp tamarind sauce
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp pure coconut oil
Coriander leaves for garnish
METHOD
1. Marinate the prawns and keep it aside for 15-20 mins.
2. Heat oil in the pan, add prawns and cook it till its 80% cooked and then remove it from the pan and keep it aside.
3. In the same pan add some more oil and add curry leaves, chillies, onion and sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and again sauté for a min.
5. Add some salt and mix it well.
6. Add capsicum and cabbage mix it well and let it cook for about a min.
7. Add Prawns and garam masala, tamarind sauce mix everything well and cover and cook it for 5 mins on low-medium flame.
8. Switch off the flame and add fresh pepper powder and coriander leaves and toss well.
NOTE:
1. THIS RECIPE IS VERY SPICY SO YOU CAN ADJUST THE SPICES ACCORDING TO YOUR CHOICE.
2. YOU CAN USE 1 TBSP OF LEMON JUICE INSTEAD OF TAMARIND SAUCE.
RECIPE WITH PICTURES
1. Chop onion, cabbage, capsicum and chilli and be prepared.
2. Marinate the prawns with salt, pepper, turmeric, chilli powder , ginger garlic paste and coconut oil and keep it aside for 20 mins.
3. Heat coconut oil in a pan and the marinated prawns and cook it till its 80% cooked.
4. Take it off the heat in a bowl and keep it aside.
5. In the same pan add some more coconut oil, curry leaves, chillies and onion and sauté.
6. Add ginger garlic paste.
7. Add salt and again sauté for a min.
8. Add cabbage and capsicum, mix well and let it cook for few mins.
9. Add cooked prawns.
10. Add garam masala.
11. Mix cooked prawns and garam masala.
12. Add some tamarind sauce to balance out the heat.
13. Cover the pan with a lid and cook it on low-medium flame for about 5 mins.
14. Now switch off the flame and add some pepper powder.
15. Garnish it with some coriander powder.
