INTRODUCTION
Kanda bhaji is a perfect tea time snack especially during the rainy season. From kids to older people everybody loves to eat crispy kanda bhaji.
Kanda bhaji is made using besan, onion and some spices
Kanda bhaji is one of the most popular indian street food.Kanda bhaji goes well with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.You can even eat it as it is.
So now let's learn how to make crispy yummy kanda bhaji.

PREP TIME: 10 MINS      
COOK TIME: 20 MINS

INGREDIENTS
2 Big thinly sliced onion
½ cup Besan (gram flour or chickpea flour)
2-3 tbsp water
1 tbsp rice flour
1 chilli, finely chopped
Salt as per taste
1 tsp jeera powder (cumin powder)
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 pinch baking soda
Oil for deep frying

RECIPE
1. Take a bowl, add thinly sliced onion.
2. Add besan, salt, chilli powder, rice flour, chilli, jeera powder, chilli and turmeric.
3. Combine everything well with hands or spoon.  Mix everything well.
4. After everything is combined properly, add pinch of baking soda.
5. Heat oil in a kadhai. Make sure that the oil is hot.
6. Put 1/3 spoon of prepared mixture in the oil.
7. Fry few bhajis at a time.
8. Fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy.
9. Serve them hot with Mint chutney or tomato ketchup.

NOTE:
1. MAKE SURE THAT THE OIL IS HOT BEFORE FRYING BHAJIS.
2. YOU CAN TOTALLY SKIP USING CHILLIES AND CHILLI POWDER IF YOU DON’T WANT IT TO BE A BIT SPICY.
